In 1994, our mom was asked to repair a number of aircraft plugs and prop tie downs for a company out of Geiger Field in Spokane. In the process, she began making design improvements and custom alterations. The end result was a superior product—and a long-term contract. Our dad helped cut out the materials, and handled the metal features of the products. It was the quintessential American Mom and Pop operation.
In 2012, Dad passed away at the age of 88, and Mom was uneasy about continuing the business alone. So my sister and I teamed up with Mom, and together we formed Fly Girls Aero Covers. We are committed to growing this business in the years to come, but will always keep the spirit of our parents alive with our dedication to providing quality products.
